From Bangkok, the fastest way for getting here is though the many Bangkok Airways flights to Koh Samui (www.bangkokair.com). This flight is approx. 1^h and 15' long. At Koh Samui airport the tourist welcome desks sell transportation packages to Koh Phangan - Thong Sala (taxi and ferry boat) at approximately 300 B. Ferry-boats leave at 8:00 AM, 12:30 AM, 1:30 PM and 5:30 PM (www.lomprayah.com and seatranferry.com).

Once in Koh Phangan, you will find at the pier plenty of public taxi which are the chepeast and the most environmentaly friendly way for getting here, its about 150B from Thong Sala. Just ask who is going to Srithanu/Haad Chao Phao and say you want to go to Blue Ocean Garden Resort.

After 5:00 PM, it is only possible to reach Koh Phangan - Had Rin with the 6.30 PM ferry (which takes 45') or by taxi-boats that can carry up to 6 people and take you directly on our beach. The cost of the taxi-boat with pick-up from Samui airport is approx. 9,000 Baht, just contact us if you are interested.

A cheaper and only relatively longer alternative is to fly to Suratthani with Airasia (www.airasia.com) and get at the airport the bus + ferry bat package to Koh Phangan for 450 B. The navy cross is about 2^h and 30' long, ma the total expense to get to Koh Phangan is on average lower than 30 Euros.

Finally for the ones who can afford and are willing to enjoy the sight of the Thai peninsula, bangkok and Suratthani are connected by a railway. Travel agents provide packages that include railway, bus and ferry-boat to Koh Phangan.
